Overview:
We’re a nationwide staffing agency currently hiring dependable, hard-working individuals for a fast-paced truss manufacturing facility in Stephenson, VA. This is physical, hands-on work. If you’re reliable and comfortable with physical labor, this is the job for you!
Positions Available:
- Truss Builders
- Sawyers
- Catchers
What You’ll Do:
- Build and assemble wood trusses using tools and production tables
- Operate saws and cut lumber to exact measurements
- Move materials and load/unload
- Follow instructions, hit production goals, and work as a team
Requirements (Read Carefully):
- Must be 18+
- Must show up on time, every day
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50–75 lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to work 8–10 hour shifts on your feet
- Must be able to read a tape measure (no training provided for this)
- Must be comfortable working in heat, cold, and dust
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed
Conditions of Employment:
- Background check required (no felonies within past 7 years)
- Drug screening required
- E-Verify employer (must be authorized to work in the U.S.)
- Must bring your own 22 oz hammer and tape measure
- Steel-toe boots required on day one
- No facial hair (must meet safety/PPE requirements)
Preferred:
- Construction or manufacturing experience
- Saw or production equipment experience
- Forklift experience/certification
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- Overtime may be available (including Saturdays)
