Hartmann Young are partnered with a growing global CRO to appoint a Senior Proposal Manager to support continued commercial growth across clinical development services.
This is a role responsible for leading end-to-end clinical trial proposals, including RFP management, pricing, budgets, contracts, and client-facing deliverables. Working closely with Business Development, the successful candidate will take ownership of proposal strategy, timelines, and cross-functional coordination to support the successful acquisition of new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and management of clinical trial proposals from initial RFP through to submission
• Coordinate proposal strategy, timelines, and deliverables across internal stakeholders
• Develop pricing models, budgets, and contract documentation in collaboration with finance and operational teams
• Partner closely with Business Development to support client engagement and proposal positioning
• Ensure high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposal submissions
• Facilitate bid defence preparation and support commercial negotiations where required
• Drive process improvements across proposal and contract management activities
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in proposal management, contracts, or commercial operations within a CRO environment
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and CRO service delivery
• Proven experience managing RFPs, budgets, pricing, and contract processes
• Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred
