QA/QC Technician Jobs in Fort Pierce at RADICAL COSMETICS, LLC
The QC/QA Technician will be responsible for pre/post manufacturing inspection operations and documentation, participating in inspections for raw materials, components and finished goods, performing quality testing on all products, and creating quality documentation .
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Create Documents as Product’s Specification, Raw Material’s Specifications,
- Component’s Specifications, SOP, Work Instructions, etc.
- Inspect raw materials when they arrive. Create and save raw material documentation.
- Inspect components when they arrive. Create and save components documentation.
- Manage raw material standards and retains.
- Manage Production standards, retains and components.
- Manage Finished Goods standards.
- Store batch retains and standards.
- Store Finished Goods retains and standards.
- Send PPS (Pre-Production Samples) to customers.
- Send samples to Out Analytical Lab
- Update tracker for customer response and micro results
- Archive customer approvals and rejections.
- Identified batch buckets with green sticker when approved.
- Paperwork for customer rejections/reworks
- Review batch tickets, scan, and archive
- Approve Batch Tickets in Smart Formulator
- Review fill tickets, scan, and archive
- Making sure all equipment is accurate and calibrated.
- Quality Control Test water.
- Quality Control tests on production samples and finished products..
- Micro test kettles
- Scale Verification.
- Calibrate pH meter.
- Verify Viscometer.
- Records temperature and humidity of all areas.
- Records temperature of stability chamber.
- File Gazebos and follow up on immediate actions.
- File CAPA’s and follow up.
- Manage batching reformulations.
- File all technical issues and corrective actions.
- File all statements, waivers, and SDS’s
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred but not required, previous knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP)
- High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of directly related experience in quality activities
- Previous experience and required skills must include experience in chemical and cosmetics processes, sampling processes, testing and measurement techniques, inspection methodology, interpreting engineering drawings, use of specifications and standards and precision measurement equipment.
- The ability to read, comprehend and follow prescribed procedures is essential.
- Able to carry-out mathematical calculations accurately.
- Fast learning and multi tasks skills
- Must be detail oriented, organized, honest and be able to prioritize.
- Willing to Learn and Grow, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Reliable and able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Flexible and Open-minded

- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- ISO Certification Audit Experience not required but preferred.
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
