New Radiation treatment center is looking for a Staff Radiation Therapist. Applicant must possess a commitment to personal accountability, integrity and high standards of professionalism.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy technology program
- Current ARRT certification
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately deliver and record a planned course of radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist.
- Maintain daily records and document technical details of treatment administered in Mosaiq.
- Submit correct billing information.
- Observe the clinical progress of patients undergoing radiation therapy, recognizing the first signs of any complication and reporting to Physician(s) for review.
- Detect accelerator malfunctions and report to proper authority. Must know the safe limits of operation.
- Must utilize proper marking techniques on patients’ skin or immobilization device, to delineate the treatment isocenter, field borders and/or CT marks as shift reference points.
