About The Role

The High-Volume Recruiter at Jabil Circuit, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the company's expansion and operational ramp-up initiatives. This position is responsible for executing large-scale recruitment strategies to meet the staffing demands associated with new business launches, program ramps, and ongoing workforce needs. Based at our upcoming facility in Prince George, VA, the recruiter will collaborate closely with HR, Operations, and Workforce Planning teams to ensure the timely hiring of direct labor employees, aligning staffing levels with production schedules and business objectives. The role requires managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and maintaining a robust talent pipeline to support continuous growth.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within high-volume or manufacturing environments. A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, particularly Workday, and HR systems is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously. Experience supporting workforce ramp-up initiatives or large-scale hiring projects is highly desirable. Candidates must be adaptable, proactive, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement high-volume recruiting strategies to support new business growth, program launches, and workforce ramp requirements.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and Workforce Planning teams to understand staffing needs, hiring timelines, and ramp schedules.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for direct labor roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
  • Create and maintain candidate pipelines to ensure readiness for large-scale hiring initiatives and ongoing staffing needs.
  • Leverage multiple sourcing channels such as job boards, community outreach, hiring events, and employee referral programs to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and support hiring events, job fairs, and community engagement initiatives to maximize candidate flow.
  • Track recruitment metrics, report progress against hiring plans, and identify potential risks to ensure ramp readiness.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle, maintaining high standards of professionalism and communication.
  • Collaborate with HR and onboarding teams to facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within applicant tracking and HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and ethical recruiting practices.
  • Participate in workforce ramp meetings and provide regular updates to leadership regarding hiring progress and challenges.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve recruitment efficiency, candidate quality, and process effectiveness.
