Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans.
Duties
– Work directly with individuals to implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
– Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients
– Collect and record data on client behavior
– Assist in developing treatment goals and objectives
– Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing interventions
– Educate and support families on behavior management techniques
– Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills
– Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
– Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to remain patient and calm in challenging situations
– Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
– Familiarity with medical documentation practices
– Background in special education is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 – $32.00 per hour
