Gardner Properties is a growing property management company specializing in long-term, medium-term, and short-term rentals throughout the Greater Burlington area. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to both property owners and tenants while utilizing technology to create a seamless leasing experience.
We’re looking for a motivated Rental Agent who understands the Burlington rental market and is comfortable using technology to market properties, communicate with prospects, and manage the leasing process.
Responsibilities
· Respond to rental inquiries through phone, email, text, and online platforms
· Schedule and conduct property showings
· Guide prospective tenants through the leasing process from inquiry to move-in
· Create, edit, and manage property listings across multiple rental platforms
· Assist with pricing strategies for long-term, medium-term, and short-term rentals
· Stay informed on Burlington rental trends and market conditions
· Build relationships with local employers, hospitals, universities, and relocation clients
· Coordinate lease signings and move-in logistics
· Maintain accurate records using property management software and CRM systems
· Assist with implementing and improving technology-driven processes that increase efficiency across the business
Qualifications
· Very experienced seeking out new tenants, leasing, real estate, hospitality, sales, or property management.
· Strong knowledge of the Burlington rental market
· Understanding of long-term, medium-term, and short-term rental strategies
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
Technology Skills (Preferred)
The ideal candidate is comfortable learning and using modern technology, including:
· Property management software (AppFolio experience is a plus)
· Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
· Digital lease signing platforms
· CRM systems
· Online scheduling tools
· Social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
· Rental listing platforms including Zillow, Apartments.com, Furnished Finder, Airbnb, and VRBO
· AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to assist with writing listings, tenant communication, and marketing content
A broad understanding of information technology (IT), including troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and cloud-based applications. While advanced IT experience isn’t required, we’re looking for someone who is tech-savvy, enjoys solving technology-related issues, and can quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
· Compensation
· This is an incentive-based position designed for motivated individuals who want to maximize their earning potential. Compensation includes a competitive base pay plus performance-based incentives tied to leasing success, occupancy goals, and overall contributions to the growth of the company. The more value you bring to the team, the greater your earning opportunity. All new management business will be split 50/50 for right candidate
