Reservation Specialist and Host Jobs in Livermore at Azotea – Cocina & Cocktail Club
Azotea is a small independent restaurant and bar in the downtown area of Livermore. We boast the only rooftop in town and our goal is to provide exceptional hospitality to our guests along with Livermore’s best food, cocktails, and atmosphere.
Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host and Reservationist. As a Host you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
– Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
– Seat guests and provide menus
– Maintain accurate seating charts, manage reservations and wait times
– Make sure there are enough menus, keep menus clean
– Help maintain inventory levels and organization of host stand materials
– Assist servers with food and beverage service as needed including silverware, napkins, water, etc
– Monitor dining areas and restrooms to ensure cleanliness and organization
– Answer phones, return voicemails, respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
– Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient seating and service
Experience:
– Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but NOT REQUIRED – we will train you!
– Strong phone etiquette and communication skills, outgoing and brave personality
– Strong computer literacy is a plus
– Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest relations
– Tidy appearance and willingness to adhere to our team uniform
