Overview
We are seeking a experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including installation of shingle and metal roofs, vinyl/wood siding, decks, patios, framing, concrete, fencing, ect. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site safety and the ability to operate hand tools and some equipment effectively. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Erect decks and covered roofs according to specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various carpentry tasks.
- Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
- Execute concrete forming for patios and other structural elements.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a construction environment.
- Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of concrete forming methods is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards on the job site.
