Our growing company is seeking an experienced Residential Permitting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the residential permitting process, is highly service-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, complete, and submit residential permit applications to local municipalities
- Track and manage permit status to ensure timely approvals
- Print, organize, and assemble complete permit packages
- Submit permit packages via online portals, mail, or in person when required
- Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and revisions
- Ensure permit fees are processed promptly and all applications reflect current project changes
- Communicate effectively with municipal offices, project managers, and internal teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential construction permitting (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Reliable, proactive, and solution-oriented
