Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in Retail facilities maintenance, ensuring that all equipment and systems are operating efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of our facilities while demonstrating leadership skills in supervising maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
- Repair drywall and wall coverings
- Concrete repairs
- Flooring repairs
- Stucco repair
- Door and hardware installation and repair
- Painting, coating and sealing
- Minor electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Water heater troubleshooting and replacement
- Drain clearing, snaking, camera-ing waste lines
- Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests main office
Requirements
- Proven experience in Retail and commercial facilities maintenance with a strong plumbing background.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Ability to perform welding tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to be self-motivated
- Knowledge of commercial painting techniques is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour
