Retail Sales Associate – Sewing Experience Jobs in Greenville at Marietta’s Quilt & Sew

Our sister store, We’re In Stitches is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our team!
This is a customer-facing, hands-on position where you’ll help customers find fabrics, tools, and machines, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and help keep our store clean, organized, and welcoming. We’ll train the right person — you just need a great attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist customers with fabric, notions, and machine purchases
- Cut fabric accurately and safely
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries
- Learn and demonstrate sewing and embroidery machines we sell
- Operate our POS system and process transactions
- Restock, organize, and maintain store displays
- Keep the store, kitchen, and bathrooms clean and presentable
- Help with events, classes, and general support across the store
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, professional attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Basic sewing or quilting knowledge is a plus — or a willingness to learn!
- Comfortable using a computer and learning our sales system
- Able to lift and move up to 35 lbs independently (team lift required over 35 lbs)
- Must be available to work some weekends

- Part-time positions available
