We are seeking an experienced General Maintenance Technician to handle projects at our Orlando area Portfolio of Retail Shopping Centers.

Retail Shopping Center – General Maintenance Technician

Daily travel to multiple locations will require applicant to have a truck or van.

Must be based in the Orlando area.

Job Description

· Complete daily/weekly assigned work outlined by property manager.

· Ensure retail center lighting is functioning properly which requires knowledge of light fixture installation, photocell, and timer functions.

· Identify mechanical, structural, and maintenance issues then report to supervisor.

· Perform regular roof inspections and preventative maintenance for properties in portfolio.

· Complete “make-ready” process to prepare vacant retail suites for leasing.

· Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities.

· Painting curbs, bollards, and parking lot pole bases; along with other minor painting to cover graffiti.

Requirements

. 2-3 years general maintenance experience

. Painting, Sheetrock, Minor Plumbing and Electrical, Common Area Maintenance

· Must have reliable transportation (truck or van preferred) and a valid driver’s license.

· Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with customers.

· Must pass background check and have legal right to work.

· Typical schedule M-F 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., overtime may be required for emergency situations.

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
