Zinc Communications is growing throughout the San Diego area and is actively hiring a Sales Account Associate to support a telecommunications campaign focused on government-supported wireless phone and mobile service programs.
As a Sales Account Associate, you will engage with prospective customers, explain wireless service options in a clear and honest way, guide customers through eligibility verification and account setup, and support customer enrollments from start to finish. This role combines customer sales, customer service, account support, customer engagement, and telecommunications sales in a fast-moving environment.
What You’ll Be Doing as Sales Account Associate
- Work directly with customers regarding government-supported wireless phone services, mobile plans, unlimited talk and text options, data services, and device availability
- Explain eligibility requirements, service features, pricing (when applicable), account details, promotions, and available wireless options in a clear and professional way
- Assist customers with eligibility verification, account setup, enrollments, activations, account updates, and customer support
- Help customers understand available mobile solutions based on communication needs, device preferences, and service eligibility
- Answer customer questions related to devices, service features, account support, connectivity, and wireless options
- Maintain accurate customer records, enrollment information, account details, and sales activity tracking
This is a full-time, in-person customer sales role where you will work directly with customers through face-to-face interactions within local communities to introduce affordable wireless services, explain eligibility requirements, discuss mobile plans and device options, assist with enrollments, and help customers access communication services that support everyday connectivity.
What We’re Looking For a Sales Account Associate
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Comfortable working directly with customers in a face-to-face, customer sales environment
- Interest in sales, customer service, telecommunications, wireless services, account management, or customer engagement
- Goal-oriented, organized, and motivated mindset
- Positive attitude with professionalism and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in sales, retail, hospitality, customer service, food service, outreach, or other people-facing environments is helpful but not required
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
