Trias Construction is looking for a Senior Commercial Construction Estimator who understands that estimating is more than putting numbers on a page. It’s about identifying risk, closing scope gaps, developing strategy, and helping projects succeed long before construction begins.

Trias Construction is a growing commercial general contractor headquartered in Lutz, Florida. Since 2009, we’ve delivered commercial, municipal, educational, industrial, and federal construction projects throughout Florida and beyond.
We’re not a large corporate contractor with layers of management and endless meetings. Our team works closely together, decisions are made quickly, and your expertise has a direct impact on the projects we pursue and the company we continue to build.
What You’ll Do
* Lead estimates from conceptual budgeting through hard bid submission
* Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete project scope
* Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
* Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals
* Identify scope gaps, cost exposures, and project risks before bid day
* Support value engineering and preconstruction planning efforts
* Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and company leadership
* Maintain historical cost data and help improve estimating processes
What We’re Looking For
* 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience
* Proven experience estimating ground-up commercial projects
* Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings
* Experience preparing detailed estimates for public and private sector projects
* Strong Excel and estimating software skills
* Knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, procurement, and subcontractor management
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
