Currently, as Sigma Smart Services enters a phase of rapid expansion within the blockchain and Web3 sectors, we are seeking a "Senior Director of Finance" with exceptional strategic vision and extensive practical experience to lead our financial operations and planning, and to drive the company's long-term business growth.
## Position Overview
As the Senior Director of Finance, you will assume comprehensive responsibility for the company's financial strategy, operational financial management, budgeting and forecasting, regulatory compliance, and business performance management. This role requires a candidate with outstanding leadership capabilities and proven experience working within high-growth technology companies; candidates with prior experience in blockchain, FinTech, SaaS, Web3, or digital platform sectors will be given priority consideration.
Our ideal candidate possesses not only high-level strategic financial leadership skills but also deep practical expertise in financial operations. Furthermore, you should demonstrate the ability to effectively support the executive leadership team in decision-making within a rapidly evolving global business landscape. ## Core Responsibilities
* Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across multiple business units.
* Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
* Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
* Monitor cash flow, profitability, and operational efficiency.
* Build financial models to support business expansion, strategic partnerships, and investment initiatives.
* Collaborate with the senior leadership team to formulate strategic plans and growth initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and company policies.
* Manage audit, tax planning, and risk management processes.
* Evaluate investment opportunities and assist with fundraising activities as needed.
* Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to optimize operational decision-making.
* Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Business Development.
## Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
* 8+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership and management roles.
* Experience in Blockchain, FinTech, SaaS, Technology, Digital Marketing, or high-growth startup environments is a plus.
* Deep expertise in financial analysis, financial forecasting, strategic planning, and operational finance.
* Proven ability to manage complex financial operations in a fast-paced work environment.
* Profound understanding of corporate finance principles and business performance management.
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
* Experience working with international or remote teams is a plus.
* Proficiency in various financial systems, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
