Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Global Account Executive at Ansys Government Initiatives, a Synopsys company. In this position, you will establish and maintain strategic relationships with global accounts, uncover client needs, and deliver tailored engineering simulation solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to drive growth, create account plans, and manage complex sales cycles. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying opportunities, building strong partnerships, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a deep understanding of Ansys' offerings and industry trends.

Travel: 50%

Remote locations: Texas, Arizona, California

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success managing strategic global accounts within the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem, including major primes and government-aligned organizations
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence across program offices, engineering leadership, procurement, and mission stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of modeling, simulation, and digital engineering environments, including their application to aerospace, defense systems, space, and advanced manufacturing
  • Proven ability to develop and execute account strategies tied to program capture, mission outcomes, and long-term contract vehicles such as CSOs and IDIQs
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving primes, government agencies, and ecosystem partners, with the ability to align executive priorities to engineering adoption
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-enabled engineering, digital twin, and system-of-systems design in support of next-generation defense initiatives and mission engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred
