Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role within the Finance organization, supporting the VP–FP&A, CFO, and broader leadership team with analysis, insights, and tools that improve operational performance and financial visibility. This role requires strong analytical skills, a process mindset, and the ability to work across departments and branch markets to identify opportunities that drive financial results.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop tools and reporting that enhance visibility into cash flow, financial performance, and operational trends.
  • Provide analysis and insights to support decision-making, including variance analysis and in-month performance tracking.

Business Finance & Operational Support

  • Partner with Regional Controllers and Operational Leaders to analyze market performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial outcomes.
  • Support development of dashboards and performance reporting tools.

Tools, Data & Process Improvement

  • Enhance data consistency and reporting processes across systems.
  • Recommend improvements to financial tools, workflows, and automation opportunities.

Acquisition Integration & Reconciliation

  • Support financial integration of acquired businesses.
  • Assist in driving reporting consistency across acquired entities.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Planning

  • Contribute to annual budgets, reforecasts, and financial models.
  • Support scenario analyses and strategic financial planning initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of financial analysis experience; experience in a Private Equity–backed, multi-location, or operationally intensive business preferred.
  • Experience with ERPs (Sage preferred), BI tools (Power BI preferred), and intermediate/advanced Excel modeling.

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Comfort working with incomplete or imperfect data and deriving insights through structure and process.

Soft Skills & Collaboration

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally across markets, operations, accounting, and leadership.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn the business in depth to identify levers for operational and financial improvement.
