Role Description This is a part-time, remote Senior Financial Analyst role. The Senior Financial Analyst will review and analyze financial statements, monthly results, and key performance indicators to support leadership with data-driven insights. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses, as well as supporting budgeting, cash flow projections, and long-range financial planning. The role will collaborate with accounting and operations teams to interpret financial data, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Additional tasks may include ad hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and supporting presentations for senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including experience applying finance principles in a corporate or multi-entity environment.
- Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with experience developing forecasts, models, and long-range plans.
- Ability to interpret and analyze Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including preparing management reports, variance analyses, and dashboards.
- High proficiency with spreadsheets and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel or similar), and familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Experience in the automotive, retail, or multi-location service industry is beneficial but not required.
