2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Manager, Workplace Experience is a critical leadership role in shaping a safe, welcoming, and effective workplace environment that supports both employees and tenants. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations of corporate services and tenant relations while fostering collaboration and engagement. Through strategic oversight of office experience, facilities, and cross-functional coordination, this position directly impacts workplace productivity and satisfaction, enhancing the organization’s culture of hospitality and operational excellence.
3. Responsibilities:
• Lead office experience and operations including administrative services, reception, and facilities
• Maintain a clean, safe, inclusive workplace optimized for collaboration and productivity
• Oversee desk allocation, hoteling, meeting room systems, and office layout
• Establish an ambassador team to gather feedback across departments
• Support new hire onboarding with workplace branding and values integration
• Ensure space and meeting room readiness
• Collaborate with internal communications on workplace messaging
• Coordinate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Facilities, and Security
• Collect and analyze workplace data such as space utilization and employee feedback
• Assist in planning and coordinating events and meetings
• Identify trends and recommend workplace improvements
• Manage workplace projects including office moves and redesigns
• Supervise receptionist roles and responsibilities
• Serve as primary liaison for tenant inquiries and support
• Conduct tenant satisfaction surveys and check-ins
• Coordinate maintenance and issue resolution with Facilities
• Lead and coach a team focused on hospitality and operational efficiency
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Implement sustainability programs like recycling and energy reduction
• Support corporate social responsibility initiatives through events and partnerships
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Facilities Management, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive experience in workplace operations, tenant services, or corporate real estate
• Minimum 5 years in leadership overseeing office services and team management
• Proven ability to develop workplace strategies that improve employee and tenant engagement
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance strategic and operational priorities
• Preferred experience in financial and vendor management
• Preferred experience in media, publishing, or professional services
• Familiarity with hybrid and digital collaboration tools
• Understanding of commercial real estate operations and tenant management best practices
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
• Salary range for this role is $85,000 – $110,000
• Position is classified as remote but tied to the New York, NY office at 120 Broadway
• Employment is subject to New York State tax withholding under applicable regulations
