2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior People Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of human resources functions and advancing learning and development initiatives. This position is responsible for managing HR systems, compliance, employee relations, and benefits, while also developing and delivering training programs that support organizational growth and inclusive leadership. The role contributes to building a resilient workplace culture that aligns with the organization's values and operational needs.
3. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, handling sensitive issues with sound judgment
- Oversee immigration processes in partnership with external counsel
- Maintain accurate employee records, perform I-9 verifications, and support compliance audits
- Improve HR data systems and reporting for accuracy and decision-making
- Monitor employment law and compliance changes across all operational states, updating policies proactively
- Draft and maintain clear, equitable HR policies aligned with legal requirements
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as surveys and programs
- Identify and address operational inefficiencies in HR processes
- Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging committee to integrate equitable practices
- Design and deliver employee and manager training programs promoting inclusive leadership
- Develop practical tools and resources that assist managers in their roles
- Assess organizational learning needs and develop targeted programming
- Facilitate live and asynchronous training sessions
- Maintain an accessible learning and development resource library
- Track and improve training effectiveness based on feedback
4. Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR/People Operations experience with substantial involvement in both HR operations and learning and development
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple states
- Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs and manager resources
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
