WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Data & Analytics
- Power BI (report building, DAX, data modeling)
- MySQL administration and query optimization
- MSSQL (SSMS, SSIS, basic DBA tasks)
- General SQL proficiency across platforms
AI & Development Tools
- AI-assisted coding (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Version control (Git)
- API integration and troubleshooting
Infrastructure & Systems
- Windows Server (AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS)
- Linux server administration (RHEL/Ubuntu, systemd, cron, permissions)
- Virtualization (VMware)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPN, VLANs)
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP — at least one)
Security & Compliance
- Firewall configuration and hardening
- Identity and access management
- Patch management and vulnerability remediation
- Compliance frameworks (CMMC, ISO, NIST, SOC 2 — familiarity level)
Operations & Support
- Helpdesk/ticketing systems
- Documentation and SOP development
- Backup and disaster recovery
- Monitoring and alerting tools (Zabbix, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Vendor and stakeholder communication
- Rapid self-directed learning on new tech
- Project coordination across teams
- Troubleshooting methodology and root cause analysis
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of systems administration experience in a business environment
Strong experience with:
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Linux servers
- VMware
- SQL databases
Experience with at least one cloud platform:
- Microsoft Azure
- AWS
- Google Cloud
Proficiency with scripting tools such as:
- PowerShell
- Bash
- Python
Knowledge of:
- network security
- firewalls
- backups
- disaster recovery
Experience creating technical documentation and procedures
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams
Preferred
- Experience with Power BI and reporting tools
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as NIST or SOC 2
- Industry certifications are a plus

Pay: $95,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
