Overview:
Hao by Haoru is a friendly and welcoming neighborhood Chinese restaurant. We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented server who can help provide a pleasant dining experience for our guests. This position includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving food, and maintaining a clean and positive dining environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and guide them to their tables
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items
- Take orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Serve food and beverages to guests
- Address guest requests or concerns during service
- Process payments accurately
- Clear and reset tables; maintain a clean service area
- Follow basic health and safety standards
- Work cooperatively with the team to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Experience preferred but not required
- English required; Korean language skills preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Legal authorization to work
- Responsible and dependable work ethic
Employment Details:
- Hiring for both Full-time and Part-time positions
- Available Shifts:
Morning: 10:40 AM – 4:00 PM
Night: 4:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Pay: $17–$18 per hour (may vary depending on tips)
