Schedule: Days | Full-time | Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
What You Will Do:
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner.
- Inform supervisor of any unusual situations or accidents immediately.
- Assist riders entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Comply with all traffic safety rules and regulations.
- Assist the department supervisor with the daily activities of the Transportation department.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle daily for cleaning and safety issues.
- Maintain accurate logs per required standards.
- Follow established schedules, adjust schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and determine safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes.
- Drive specially equipped van to deliver physically limited persons to various destinations; assure that wheelchair lifts and tie down equipment are properly operated and that riders are delivered to appointments in a timely manner.
What You Will Need:
- Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Chauffeur preferred.

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences:
- Valid unencumbered FL drivers license
- Prior patient transfer/transport experience
- Prior healthcare experience
- Prior customer service experience
- BLS
