As one of our Skilled Carpenters, you will be a key player on our production team. You will be hands-on in every aspect of our residential projects, including demolition, framing, trim, window/door installation, drywall, and high-end bathroom and kitchen remodels. We specialize in custom work that requires sharp attention to detail and an absolute commitment to quality.

Hard Skills:
- Perform rough and finish carpentry to the high standard of Thayer’s.
- Read and execute work order specifications to ensure client satisfaction.
- Install high-end trim, including base, casing, crown molding, and cabinetry.
- Assist with basement, kitchen, bathroom, and home remodels/additions.
- Repair and install new drywall, including tape, mud, and finishing.
- Repair and install siding and roofing.
- Install and repair windows and doors.
- Light plumbing and electrical skills are a plus.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate carpenter who wants a stable, long-term career. Every day brings a different task that will utilize your critical thinking and physical skills. You must possess a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for the trade, and a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients on-site.
Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience in residential carpentry and remodeling.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work consistently, including lifting up to 100 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)

Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and overtime)
- Education: High school or equivalent preferred (Open to all qualified applicants without a diploma/GED).
Experience Required:
- Carpenter-specific: 5+ years (Preferred)
- General Construction: 5+ years (Required)
- Plumbing: 1-2+ years (Preferred))
- Electrical: 1-2+ years (Preferred))
