About The Role
As a Social Media Manager & Content Creator at Wuffes, you will be at the forefront of our brand’s digital presence, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive US-focused social media strategy. This is a remote-first role, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will lead content creation, community engagement, and influencer collaborations to amplify Wuffes' reach and deepen customer relationships. Your creative skills and strategic thinking will help craft engaging, culturally relevant content that resonates with American pet parents and builds a passionate, engaged community. You will also analyze performance metrics to optimize content and ensure alignment with brand and business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the voice of a dynamic pet wellness brand and contribute directly to its growth trajectory.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on social media management experience for a US consumer brand
- Proven content creation skills, including shooting, editing, and posting short-form videos independently
- Comfortable appearing on camera as part of content strategy
- Deep understanding of American culture, internet trends, and the US pet market
- Strong analytical skills with experience using native platform analytics and external tools
- Portfolio or active social presence demonstrating content quality, on-camera ability, and social growth
- Access to a pet is preferred, to enhance content authenticity and relatability
- Willingness to travel as needed for campaign or partnership initiatives
Responsibilities
- Grow social reach and engagement across key platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Develop and execute a tailored US social media strategy aligned with brand and commercial goals
- Create and publish high-quality, platform-native content weekly, including videos, static posts, stories, and reels
- Regularly appear on camera to foster authenticity and relatability with the audience
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance monthly, providing insights and optimization recommendations
- Build and manage an engaged US community by responding to comments and DMs within agreed SLAs
- Support influencer and micro-influencer identification, outreach, and relationship management in collaboration with the Partnerships team
- Contribute to campaign planning, content creation, and scheduling for product launches and brand collaborations
