Job Overview: Retail PioneerRX Pharmacist / GLP-1 Central Fill Program Pharmacist
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail pharmacy on PioneerRx software, patient care, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Duties:
– Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
– Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in various retail settings
– Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy
– Deliver exceptional patient service and ensure medication safety
-Provide vaccinations
– Apply physiology knowledge to enhance patient care outcomes
– Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare team
Requirements:
-Very knowledgeable with PioneerRx pharmacy software
– Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or BS Pharm from an accredited pharmacy program
– Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
– Experience working in a retail or independent pharmacy setting preferred
– Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
–Must be willing to dispense compounded GLP-1 medications and other peptides and central filled sterile compounds
