Role Overview
Within the Corporate IT organization, you will analyze business requirements and provide solution design for Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), implementing STARLIMS solutions to support global business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver STARLIMS functional solutions aligned with business/global team needs
Translate workflows and requirements into solution designs and user stories
Validate completeness with global teams before software design implementation
Maintain deep knowledge of STARLIMS product capabilities and guide users to maximize existing functionalities
Support creation of RFPs, SOWs, and manage LIMS vendor/partner relationships
Influence product feature usage, additions, or deferrals
Ensure global consistency across business lines, regions, and labs
Contribute to roadmap vision and long-term strategy
Qualifications
Graduate/Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Biology/Chemistry, Business, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of functional solution analysis experience in STARLIMS projects
Knowledge of LIMS solutions (Labvantage, G6, STARLIMS, or similar) and lab business processes in pharma or comparable industries
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Analytical, structured, and logical problem-solving approach
Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented team player
International exposure with flexibility to travel occasionally
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Optional Skills
Knowledge of project methodologies (Scrum, Agile, PMP, Prince2)
