Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a STEAM Dean based in Wenatchee, WA. The STEAM Dean is responsible for overseeing and managing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) programs, leading curriculum development, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration across academic departments. Day-to-day tasks include supervising faculty, evaluating program outcomes, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and developing partnerships with industry and community stakeholders. The STEAM Dean will also oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and grant management related to STEAM programs.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and educational program management
- Experience in STEM and Arts education, including promoting interdisciplinary learning
- Excellent leadership, team management, and faculty mentorship skills
- Proficiency in data analysis, program evaluation, and accreditation processes
- Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage budgets, grants, and resource allocation effectively
- Master's or higher degree in Education, Instructional Leadership, or a related field, with relevant professional experience in administrative or leadership roles
