Duties
- Receive, unload, and organize shipments using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Stock shelves with produce, groceries, and retail merchandise, maintaining proper placement and presentation for optimal customer accessibility.
- Conduct regular inventory control checks to monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and assist with replenishment needs.
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and sales floor areas to promote safety and operational efficiency.
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring proper signage is in place for easy navigation.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with locating items, answering questions, and supporting retail sales initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with retail stocking procedures is preferred.
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and effectively; certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for inventory management and stock control.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Effective communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of grocery store operations, produce handling, or retail math enhances performance in this role.
- Demonstrated reliability with a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Pay: $16.50 – $17.50 per hour
