Overview
Seeking a school-based subcontractor Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this role, you will provide skilled speech therapy services to pediatric patients in a school setting. Determine your desired work weed schedule around 179 total school days per year possible with an option of 20-days for Extended School Year services (summer school). Sign in at 7:30. Take unpaid 30-minute lunch. Leave at 3:00. Have weekly timesheets signed by administration. Work in conjunction with and support from district SLPs. Paid monthly.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and developmental stage
- Provide direct speech therapy services, including exercises and strategies to improve communication.
- Collaborate with other school-based SLPs on your team to ensure cohesive patient care and progress tracking
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes.
- Use evidenced-based practices.
Skills
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school or clinical settings.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored for children and their families.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with SLP teams.
