2. About the Opportunity:
The Supply Chain Manager (Logistics & Procurement) is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain process, including logistics and procurement operations. This role drives cross-departmental collaboration and external partnerships to optimize supply chain performance. The position is critical for supporting business growth and operational excellence by ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and alignment of supply chain strategies with organizational goals.
3. Responsibilities:
• Oversee logistics processes including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Manage procurement by sourcing, negotiating, and securing supplier contracts.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with production and sales to anticipate demand.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with finance on budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and reduce risks.
4. Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field; MBA or certifications (APICS, CPSM) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supply chain management experience focused on logistics and procurement.
• Proven ability to manage complex supply chains and vendor relationships.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
