Job Overview:

Support Aides are responsible for cleaning and reporting any safety hazards to the manager in charge.

They must complete tasks like vacuuming, emptying trash cans, dusting, high dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning, sweeping and mopping patient’s rooms, bathrooms, nurse’s station, hallways, stairs, elevators and room setups.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Every other Weekends
• Every other Holidays

Preferred:

• One to two years as a housekeeper or service worker preferred
• Command of English
• Physical Functions: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
• Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting, up to 50 lbs
• Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requires special clothing or safety equipment.

Scheduling Requirements

• Day Shift, 6:30am – 3:00pm
• 40 Hours a week
• Full Time

To provide housekeeping/cleaning service that will support the highest possible level of cleanliness and sanitation to the department; provide exceptional service to internal and external customers; maintain an orderly and attractive environment throughout the facility in accordance with RWJ standards
