Hardhat Workforce Solutions is looking for a Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field layout for footings, walls, slabs, and embeds
- Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and elevations
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies before work is installed
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Foremen on daily priorities
- Verify layout accuracy prior to concrete placement to prevent rework
- Assist with as-builts, documentation, and field measurements
- Coordinate with other trades and GC layout teams to avoid conflicts
- Support overall field operations to keep crews productive and efficient
- Preform Carpentry work during times when layout is not needed
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years in construction layout, surveying, or concrete field engineering
- Strong understanding of commercial concrete construction practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Experience with Robotic total station or layout equipment (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, etc.)
- Knowledge with Magnet CAD Software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-motivated and able to operate independently in the field

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
