Job Desription
We are hiring an experienced Swimming Pool Technician to take over an established, well organized service route in the San Antonio area. This position is ideal for a technician who already has professional pool service experience and is looking for better pay, a stable Monday-Friday schedule, and a more structured route.
This is not an entry level position. Candidates must have prior experience in residential and commercial pool service and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
You will be responsible for managing your own route, maintaining pool water quality and ensuring equipment is operating properly while providing reliable, high quality service to customers.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and values the importance of communication with customers and other employees to provide high quality pool service and maintenance.
Responsiblities
- Manage and complete assigned pool service route independently
- Clean and maintain residential and/or commercial pools
- Test and balance water chemistry (chlorine, pH, alkalinity, etc.)
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems)
- Inspect pools regularly for safety hazards or equipment malfunctions and perform preventative maintenance as needed
- Maintain detailed service records of all cleaning services performed
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and clients
- Communicate professionally with customers and other Waterworks employees
- Complete online service reports after each visit using mobile app/software
- Maintain accurate daily schedule and service records
Skills
- Prior professional pool service experience required
- Experience with pool cleaning techniques such as vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and basket cleaning
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry and water balancing
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot standard pool equipment issues
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a full route
- Comfortable using a smart phone or app for service reporting
- Reliable, detail oriented and punctual
- Excellent attention to detail combined with proactive maintenance skills to prevent issues before they arise.

Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
