About The Role
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Guitar Center will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process for our retail positions across various locations. This role involves coordinating and managing all aspects of the hiring process to ensure a seamless, efficient, and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about attracting top talent that aligns with our company's values and culture.
You will be responsible for supporting the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications. Additionally, you will coordinate onboarding activities, assist with background checks, and collaborate closely with HR and hiring managers to meet staffing needs effectively. Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in recruitment, HR, or a People Coordinator role.
- Strong desire to learn and develop expertise in the full recruitment lifecycle.

- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the full recruitment process, including creating job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Coordinate and facilitate interview logistics, including travel arrangements for out-of-town candidates and interview preparation for hiring teams.
- Create compelling and accurate job descriptions for postings on various platforms, including the company website and social media channels.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system with candidate information, interview notes, and recruitment metrics.
- Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screenings to ensure compliance and quality hires.
- Support onboarding activities by preparing offer letters, coordinating start dates, and ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Collaborate with HR, hiring managers, and external recruitment agencies to align recruitment strategies and processes.
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of hiring efforts and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in employer branding initiatives, including career fairs, networking events, and creating engaging recruitment marketing content.
