We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly qualified World Language Teacher for grades 9-12. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a fellow foreign language teacher, as well as be student-centered with a strong knowledge of content, including best practices in foreign language instruction, an understanding of standards-based assessment, the ability to use technology in instruction and the willingness to support the mission of the school department.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide opportunities for student involvement in the learning process2. Teach based on the needs of the whole child3.
Organize materials for student learning4. Provide appropriate feedback on student progress5. Guide student behavior6. Maintain a climate conducive to learning7.
Communicate effectively with parents and/or community8. Plan for and engages in professional development9. Comply with policies, operating procedures, and requirements10. Maintain accurate student records11.
Work cooperatively with all staff12. Perform other tasks and assumes other duties as may be assigned by the administrator.
