Technician – Fire Alarm & Security Systems- Vermont Jobs in Saint Albans at Stewart’s Shops
Stewart’s Shops is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to our Alarm and Security Installation Team. Our Facilities Department provides support to our Shops, Rental Properties and District Staff. A company vehicle and tools are provided. This position is based out of our district office in St. Albans, VT.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of commercial fire and security alarm panels and devices.
- Installation of security cameras.
- Pull Cat V cable in both retrofit and new construction shops.
Requirements:
- Experience with Compliance Engine conducting Commercial Alarm Inspections.
- VT Type-S Journeyman License and/or Certification of Fitness preferred.
- Must be organized, a strong communicator, self-motivated.
- Possess strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to travel to job sites – company vehicle provided.
- Occasional overnight travel and on-call responsibility.
