Job Summary
Following established protocols and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, MRI Technologists perform imaging procedures for diagnostic interpretation. They assist radiologists during procedures, supervise student MRI Technologists, and maintain good customer relations. Responsibilities include patient care, efficient use of imaging equipment, instructing patients, ensuring accurate data entry, adhering to safety policies, and promoting the mission and values of the organization.
Required Qualifications
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
• Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals
Preferred Qualifications
• Cross-sectional anatomy experience or MRI experience
Additional Information
• Frequent standing, walking, and lifting/moving patients
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and radiation
• Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, or irregular hours
• May require taking call and/or working weekends/holidays
• Must maintain strict confidentiality and project a professional appearance
