Description:

Required:

2+ years NICU Level III; neurologic care for neonatal abstinence syndrome; care for neonates 29 34 weeks and >34 weeks Administer blood products; start/maintaining IVs; medication management: anti-seizure drugs; antibiotics/antivirals; steroids; neonatal dosage calculations; phlebotomy Cardiovascular monitoring with telemetry;
Vents/intubated patients; respiratory support with HFNC; oxygen delivery systems; manage respiratory distress Breastfeeding support; colostomy/ileostomy care; enteral feedings; tube placement;
Glucose monitoring; insulin administration; hyperbilirubinemia; phototherapy Developmental care; patient/family teaching; infection control; isolation precautions; sepsis workup SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING=============================== Charting: EPIC experience required, Crib Notes Weekend Requirement:
Every Other Weekend (Sat/Sun); may be altered as needed RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests:
Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer. Call Off Policy:
Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Holiday Requirement:
Must work 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 holidays, per unit needs Accept First-Time Travelers:

UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING========================== Ratios: 1:1-3; 1:4 in IMCU Unit Details:
Will not attend high risk deliveries or be assigned level IV patients, ECMO or fresh post-ops. Scrubs:
Navy Blue Floating:
Must be confident in NBN, Peds and PICU (Confirm float/skillset with traveler) Will ensure appropriate patient assignment. Float depends on patient volume and acuity. Must float within skillset without exception. Ratios vary by census, acuity & staffing.
