NOW HIRING – Experienced Utility Operator
40K Civil Solutions is seeking an experienced Utility Operator to join our team. We specialize in new residential developments and commercial site construction and are looking for someone with the experience and knowledge to perform at a high level from day one.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – NO EXCEPTIONS
Applicants must have hands-on experience with:
- RCP (Reinforced Concrete Pipe)
- HDPE Storm Drain Systems
- Sanitary Sewer Installation
- Water Main Installation
- Underground Detention Systems
Applicants must also be able to:
- Use a laser level to accurately set grades and utility structures.
- Read and interpret construction plans and profiles.
- Understand proper elevations, slopes, and utility layout.
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a utility crew.
This is NOT an entry-level position. We are looking for experienced utility operators only. If you do not have underground utility installation experience and cannot set grade with a laser, please do not apply.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment on utility projects.
- Install underground utility systems according to plans and specifications.
- Set grades and structures using a laser level.
- Work with the foreman and crew to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site.
Qualifications
- Proven underground utility installation experience is required.
- Ability to use a laser level to set grades and structures is mandatory.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus).
