Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for production, ensuring that production capacity, cost, and quality targets align with the company's overall business objectives.
Lead and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure the company's competitiveness in the global market.
Develop and drive long-term development plans for production facilities, including equipment upgrades and the application of automation technologies.
Production Operations Management: Oversee global or regional production activities, ensuring all production lines meet established quality standards, production schedules, and cost control requirements.
Monitor the quality control system during production to ensure products meet industry standards and company requirements.
Manage production scheduling, resource allocation, and personnel arrangements to ensure smooth execution of production plans and timely delivery.
Cost Control and Resource Optimization: Develop production budgets, monitor costs, and implement effective cost control to maximize resource utilization while ensuring production efficiency.
Analyze production data to identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Optimize cost expenditures on production lines and manufacturing processes while ensuring quality, and identify efficient supply chains and material procurement methods.
Quality Control and Continuous Improvement:
Ensure product quality meets company requirements and industry standards by implementing a comprehensive quality management system.
Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects to enhance production processes and product quality.
Supervise the safety and compliance of production facilities, ensuring all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
Technological Innovation and Automation:
Lead the innovation and introduction of production technologies, promoting the application of automation and intelligent manufacturing to improve production efficiency and precision.
Evaluate new technologies and equipment, and promote their implementation and optimization in production.
Pay attention to industry trends and guide the company's production department to continuously introduce advanced technologies to maintain a competitive technological advantage.
Team Management and Development:
Lead and develop the production management team, including workshop and department heads, engineers, and operators.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members possess the necessary technical knowledge and management skills.
Establish effective communication and collaboration mechanisms to motivate the team to achieve established production goals and performance standards.
Supply Chain and External Cooperation:
Cooperate with the purchasing department to ensure the timeliness, stability, and cost-effectiveness of raw material and equipment supply.
Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and maintain high quality from external partners.
Coordinate communication and collaboration with other departments (such as R&D, quality control, sales, etc.) to ensure production is synchronized with market demand.
Risk Management and Emergency Response: Assess potential risks in the production process (such as equipment failure, supply chain disruptions, etc.) and take preventative measures to mitigate them.
In the event of emergencies, respond quickly and take effective measures to ensure production is not significantly affected.
Ensure production facilities comply with all regulatory requirements and avoid compliance issues through regular inspections and audits.
Job Requirements:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
At least 20 years of work experience in the manufacturing industry, including at least 5 years in production management or senior manufacturing positions.
Experience in large-scale production and cross-regional production management is preferred, especially experience involving multiple factories or international business.
Professional Skills: Deep understanding of the manufacturing process and proficiency in modern production management concepts and methods such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation.
Familiar with the technology and management aspects of production facility layout, equipment management, material management, and production scheduling.
Proficient in using production management systems such as ERP and MES, and possesses a certain level of technological innovation capability.
Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership skills; able to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate work between different departments.
