As the Vice President of Sales, you will serve as a critical member of the executive leadership team, carrying ownership of the company’s revenue generation strategy, sales org architecture, and market expansion. You will lead, scale, and mentor our sales teams while personally cultivating high-level strategic partnerships with the nation’s largest self-storage operators.

to recruit, train, motivate, and retain elite Account Executives, Sales Specialists, and

Account Managers.

● Data-Driven Executive: You live in the metrics. CAC, LTV, net revenue retention (NRR),

and pipeline velocity are the metrics that guide your daily and quarterly decisions.

● Cultural Anchor: You champion accountability, resilience, and transparent

communication, thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

● Strategic Sales Leadership: Define and execute the overarching multi-channel national

sales strategy, including enterprise-level self-storage owners, institutional funds, top-100

operators, and the broad market.

● Team Scaling & Management: Hire, mentor, and manage the sales and business

development teams. Establish clear KPIs, quotas, and commission structures aligned

with the company’s ARR goals.

● Revenue Operations & Forecasting: Oversee the revenue pipeline and provide the

CEO and Board of Directors with highly accurate revenue forecasts, market insights, and

data-driven growth strategies.

● Go-To-Market (GTM) Alignment: Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and

Customer Success to ensure tight alignment on product positioning, lead generation

quality, and seamless post-sale onboarding.

● Enterprise Closing: Personally step into high-impact, multi-million dollar negotiations to

help close landmark institutional accounts and joint ventures.

● Process Optimization: Standardize the sales tech stack, CRM architectures, and

playbooks to maximize team efficiency and shorten the sales cycle.

Qualifications & Skills

● Leadership Track Record: Proven experience building and managing multi-tiered sales

teams in a high-growth environment.

● SaaS & Prop-Tech Mastery: Deep understanding of B2B SaaS mechanics, IoT

business models, and enterprise value-based selling frameworks.

● Commercial Real Estate Savvy: Strong familiarity with commercial real estate (CRE)

metrics, capital expenditure approvals, and property management systems.

● Financial Literacy: Expert capability in managing sales budgets, structuring complex

enterprise pricing models, and designing effective incentive compensation plans.

● CRM Mastery: Well adept in setting up, automating, utilizing, and driving pipeline

management.

● Communication & Presence: Masterful negotiation and boardroom presentation skills,

with the ability to influence C-suite executives and institutional investors.

Education & Experience

● Required: 13+ years of executive sales leadership experience (VP, Director, or

Head of Sales) with a heavy focus on B2B SaaS or Prop-Tech.

● Industry Context: Experience selling solutions directly into the self-storage, multi-family,

or commercial real estate sectors is strongly preferred.

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; an

MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plus.
