Role Description The Vice President of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is responsible for building and leading the sales organization, including setting sales strategy, defining processes, and driving revenue growth across target markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing pipeline development, guiding account management activities, forecasting performance, and ensuring effective sales operations practices. The Vice President of Sales will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and executive leadership to refine value propositions, support key customer engagements, and expand strategic partnerships. This role also involves hiring, coaching, and mentoring sales team members, establishing performance metrics, and representing qthink.ai in high-level customer and industry discussions.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in B2B technology or SaaS.
  • Strong background in Account Management, including nurturing long-term customer relationships and driving expansion within existing accounts.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, such as building scalable processes, managing CRM systems, and implementing data-driven performance metrics.
  • Proven Business Development skills, including identifying new market opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and leading complex deal negotiations.
  • Ability to create and communicate clear go-to-market strategies, working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities, with experience managing and growing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial.
  • Experience selling AI, data, or enterprise software solutions is a plus, as is familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area technology ecosystem.
