Role Description The Vice President of Supply Chain is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations in support of Sepblac’s organizational objectives. This role leads demand planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management activities to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply of goods and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain policies, analyzing performance data, managing vendor relationships, and optimizing processes for efficiency and risk mitigation. The Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare executive reports, and guide continuous improvement initiatives. This role also involves mentoring supply chain team members, aligning operations with regulatory requirements, and supporting long-term strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder operations.
  • Proficiency in Demand Planning and Inventory Management to ensure service continuity and cost control.
  • Demonstrated experience in Procurement, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
  • Leadership skills in managing distributed teams, driving change, and building collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using data and KPIs to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of public-sector or highly regulated environments, including compliance, risk management, and governance frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP) are a plus.
