Key Responsibilities & Main Tasks
- Deliver functional business services in the region on time, compliant, efficient, professional by using shared services and digitalization
- Lead and develop a team of People Business Partners across the region, ensuring strong collaboration with business.
- Drive consistency in People practices across legal entities while respecting local labor laws and cultural nuances.
- Representation of region in extended People and Places management team
- Ensure regional governance and compliance in the functional organization
- Ensure adherence to global governance standards and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee risk management related to people processes and employment practices.
- Comptent in People Financial Steering, including personnel cost development, profitability, FTE, and KPI tracking
Alongside full ownership of the role, this position also shares responsibility for the following areas:
- Functional business enabling in the region
- Enable SICK Business through running adequate and flexible functional processes to support the strategic directions of the SICK Group
- People Business Partnering in all parts of the organization with senior business responsibility in the SSC or PC management teams and competent business partner resources that support decision makers.
- Collaborate with Shared Services and Global People teams to optimize People processes and systems.
- Track, report and monitor KPIs and deliver data-driven insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or similar through experience, with advanced degree (e.g. M.S., HR Management) not required but highly desired
- Continuous learning in employment law, change management, and leadership development.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role within a multinational organization.
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-country HR operations.
- Track record of leading organizational transformation and strategic HR initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of HR strategy, organizational design, and talent management.
- Strong understanding of regional labour laws, compliance, and cultural diversity.
- Expertise in employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
