Accountabilities
The Vice President, Talent Management will provide strategic direction and operational leadership for enterprise talent and learning initiatives, ensuring programs align with business priorities and future workforce needs.
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive talent management and learning strategies that enhance leadership capability, employee growth, and organizational performance.
- Design and scale enterprise programs covering succession planning, leadership development, career development, performance management, talent assessments, and high-potential employee initiatives.
- Partner with executive leaders and HR teams to identify critical talent priorities, workforce capability gaps, and development opportunities.
- Oversee succession planning and talent review processes, including leadership pipeline assessments, readiness evaluations, and executive calibration discussions.
- Develop leadership capability frameworks and learning solutions that support current and future organizational needs.
- Lead enterprise learning and development strategies, ensuring learning programs deliver measurable improvements in skills, performance, and workforce readiness.
- Strengthen employee engagement, retention, internal mobility, and professional growth through impactful development initiatives.
- Drive improvements to performance management practices, helping leaders build stronger accountability and development conversations.
- Utilize workforce analytics, talent insights, and organizational metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and inform executive decisions.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and business leaders to ensure alignment across people strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational capability building.
- Lead, mentor, and influence teams responsible for enterprise talent and learning programs while promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience leading enterprise talent management and learning initiatives within complex organizations, with strong expertise in leadership development, succession planning, and workforce strategy.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in talent management, learning and development, or human resources leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of direct experience across key talent management disciplines, including succession planning, leadership development, learning strategy, performance management, and talent assessment.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-wide talent strategies within large, matrixed, and evolving organizations.
- Strong ability to influence executive leadership teams and facilitate complex talent discussions.
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing scalable learning and development programs.
- Experience managing learning technologies, learning management systems (LMS), and workforce capability-building initiatives preferred.
- Strong knowledge of talent analytics, workforce insights, skills development, and organizational effectiveness practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing business priorities.
- Strong business acumen and ability to align people strategies with organizational goals.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
