Warehouse & Quality Assurance Associate

Position Summary

SVT Supply Chain is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving inventory control, order fulfillment, quality assurance, and shipping activities within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product accuracy, inventory integrity, customer satisfaction, and compliance with AS9120 quality management requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess warehouse operations experience, strong attention to detail, and an understanding of aerospace, defense, or high-compliance supply chain environments where documentation, traceability, and quality standards are essential.

Essential Responsibilities

Receiving

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify product quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, accuracy, and compliance with customer and quality requirements.
  • Accurately enter receipt information into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.
  • Label, identify, and properly store inventory according to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation.

Inventory Management

  • Perform inventory transactions and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper inventory identification, lot control, and traceability requirements are maintained.

Order Picking & Fulfillment

  • Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify product part numbers, quantities, lot numbers, and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Perform quality inspections during receiving, storage, picking, and shipping processes.
  • Verify product identification, condition, certifications, and traceability documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9120 quality requirements and company quality procedures.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or process deviations.
  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Shipping

  • Prepare outbound shipments in accordance with customer and carrier requirements.
  • Verify shipment accuracy prior to release.
  • Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation.
  • Coordinate shipments with transportation providers.
  • Ensure proper packaging and protection of customer products.

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

  • Maintain compliance with AS9120 quality management standards.
  • Follow documented procedures, work instructions, and quality policies.
  • Support inventory traceability and chain-of-custody requirements.
  • Ensure proper handling of customer-owned and regulated materials.
  • Participate in quality audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain clean and organized records supporting customer and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or distribution experience.
  • Experience with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with warehouse systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and inventory records.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an AS9120, ISO 9001, aerospace, defense, electronics, and other quality-driven environments
  • Understanding of inventory traceability and quality documentation requirements.
  • Experience using WMS and ERP systems.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
  • Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
