Warehouse Associate Jobs in Wassaic, NY at Pawling Corporation
General Purpose of Position:
To complete all orders to meet our required ship date that may include assembling, drilling,
cutting, pick and packing of these orders in our Wall Protection areas.
Maior Responsibilities:
1. Follow all pick and pack work instructions and procedures
2. Pull, pack, assemble and/or modify material specified on work order or shipper
3. Operate the necessary power tools or machinery to complete the assigned task
4. Work closely with the Production Manager to complete all required work
5. Receive all completed work orders into the AS400
6. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation associated with each order
7. Maintain a high level of quality associated with all work in progress
8. Put away material
9. Maintain a clean safe work area
10. Follow all company safety policies and procedures
11. All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The ability to read and write English
The ability to use required measuring equipment Ability to measure to the I/16áµ—Ê° of an inch
Basic hand/power tool skills
The ability to read shop drawings
Good math skills including decimals, fraction and weights Good spatial perception for fork truck
operation
The ability to obtain a fork truck license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
