Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and ensuring that all products are stored and shipped accurately. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM
Duties
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in inventory control by conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organization within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to implement best practices for warehouse management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote a safe working environment.
- Follow safety protocols while performing heavy lifting and operating machinery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required.
- Strong skills in materials handling and inventory control.
- Experience with picking, packing, and stock management processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
